Enforcers for the Forces

A group of 18 former NHL fighters have come together to form the “Enforcers for the Forces” program to help raise money to assist ill and injured personnel and military families. Enforcers for the Forces is raffling a beautifully framed and signed limited edition photo montage of the enforcers to benefit the Military Families Fund and the Soldier On Fund. Vacations for Vets Available to Ill or Injured CF Members

Royal Canadian Mint Unveils Highway of Heroes Silver Commemorative Coin

The Royal Canadian Mint unveiled a silver coin to commemorate the Highway of Heroes.  The Mint also announced that $20 dollars from the sale of each Highway of Heroes commemorative coin will be shared between the Afghanistan Repatriation Memorial and the Military Families Fund.  Visit www.mint.ca/heroes.

Montgomery Legion Branch 351

The Support Our Troops booth had a surprise visitor during Army Run weekend. Tim Blanchard, President of the Montgomery Legion Branch 351 presented a cheque for $10,000 towards the Support Our Troops Funds to Sandy Gauthier, National Manager Support Our Troops Funds and Outreach.  Thank you!

Old Navy’s Operation Troop Donation supports our troops

Rideau Centre Old Navy employees in Ottawa pose with the Chief of Military Personnel (CMP), Rear-Admiral Andy Smith, and the CMP Command Chief Warrant Officer, Chief Warrant Officer Andy Dalcourt, after being presented with an $81 737.70 cheque for the Military Families Fund by Carla Keown, the Ontario East Old Navy District Manager, on September 8th, 2011.
